Nobody was injured. Police are treating it as attempted murder. A car linked with the shooting was found burnt out a short time later.
Stewart Dickson MLA said: “There can be no justification for this shooting. Guns have no place on our streets. Those responsible are callous and cold-blooded individuals who have no regard for the consequences of their actions.
“This must have been a very frightening experience for the occupants of this house. I am just glad that no-one was injured in this incident
“If anybody has any information about this shooting then I would urge them to contact the Police. Those responsible clearly pose a danger to the public and must be urgently apprehended.”
