Stewart Dickson MLA said: “Somebody could have been seriously injured or killed had this device exploded. The people responsible have no regards for the consequences of their actions.
“I would like to pay tribute to the postal staff who discovered this letter bomb. Their vigilance has protected the public after they raised the alarm about this suspect item.
“If anybody has any information about this letter bomb then I would urge them to contact the Police.”
