East Antrim Alliance MLA Stewart Dickson has condemned an incident in Larne, in which a man was left with broken ribs and a fractured shoulder after being assaulted by masked men wielding baseball bats in the early hours of Monday September 26.
Shortly before 1.20am, a number of masked males forced entry to a house in the area. They chased the 37-year-old occupant outside before assaulting him with baseball bats.
Stewart Dickson said: “This is an appalling attack on an individual and I condemn those behind it. I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident, or has information about it to pass it to the police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
