Judith Cochrane MLA said: “This is extremely good news that we will have another air route available to and from one of our airports. As well as being good for destinations that the Northern Irish public can go to, it will also be good in terms of tourism and business.
“The more direct routes that we have should lead to more businesses investing here.
“The Finance and Personnel Committee is currently looking at air passenger duty and I hope that once we have completed our work we should have more direct routes being announced.”
