Judith Cochrane MLA said: “I am very concerned that these members of staff were threatened with a knife during this robbery. Somebody could have so easily been seriously injured or worse. We need to do more to help get knives off the streets.
“I hope that the staff who were in the shop at the time of the robbery will be able to get over what must have been a horrifying and traumatic experience.
“The man who carried out this robbery must be urgently caught by the police, so I would urge anybody with any information about this crime to contact the police.”
