Cllr Judith Cochrane said, “I am shocked that his shop was targeted at rush hour on one of Belfast’s busy commuter routes. This is the second time that this particular shop has been attacked this month and again raises concerns about the increase of knife crimes in the area.”
“It must have been an extremely traumatic incident for the staff member and my thoughts are with her as she tries to come to terms with what happened. I would urge anyone with information about this incident to contact the police.”
