Judith Cochrane MLA said: “I can not believe that somebody has left these medical needles where children have found them. This is completely irresponsible. I have no idea what could possess somebody to leave something so dangerous in a children’s play park.
“I would caution children about picking anything that they are not sure about and encourage them to instead contact a responsible adult.
“If anybody has any information about these medical needles then I would urge them to contact the police.”
