Cllr Tom Campbell said: “I completely condemn this robbery. To threaten somebody with a gun just shows the lack of respect for human life that these robbers have.
“There have been concerns about the large number of violent robberies in the area recently.
“These robbers must be apprehended by the police quickly so that they can be taken off our streets to stop them posing any more danger to people going about their daily routines.
“The people behind this armed robbery are obviously very dangerous individuals and so I would urge anybody with any information about this robbery to contact the police.
