Ms Bradshaw stated: “The so-called ‘Belfast Hub’ at Weavers Cross off Great Victoria Street promises to be a much more efficient central public transport location, and much more besides.
“The proposals will help reinvigorate the entire area, enabling much better access to the city centre for people living in neighbouring residential streets, as well as making the Great Victoria Street area the city’s main railway terminus.
“This will in turn bring significant job opportunities and the only drawback is that it has taken so long already to reach this stage. It is to be hoped that the proposal now progresses swiftly to become a reality.”
