Cllr Yvonne Boyle said: “This is a tragic accident. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of this man.
“The Health and Safety Executive are investigating the circumstances and I hope that they will be able to provide answers to the family and ensure that this accident is not repeated.
“There have been several workplace deaths in recent years, so I would encourage all businesses to ensure that their safety regulations are up to standard.”
