Boyle condemns Coleraine shooting

Alliance Coleraine Councillor Yvonne Boyle has condemned the shooting at a house in the Spittle Hill area of Coleraine in the early hours on Monday. Three shots were fired at the house, but no one was injured. Two people were in the house at the time.

Cllr Yvonne Boyle said: “I am shocked that somebody would be so callous as to carry out an attack like this. Somebody could have been seriously injured or worse.

“We can count ourselves lucky that we are not talking about a death.

“I am sure that this must have been an extremely scary and traumatic experience for those inside the house at the time.

“If anybody has any information about this attack then I would urge them to contact the police.”
