Taking up the role in the final year of Coleraine Borough Council, Yvonne said she hoped to build on what Alliance had already delivered for the area – securing a positive, inclusive society for all.
Councillor Yvonne Boyle said: “I am absolutely delighted to take up this role on behalf of the Alliance Party. It is an honour to be selected and I am committed to working hard for everyone across the Coleraine area.
“Focussed on delivering for everyone I will seek to attract inward investment and new opportunities for the area and strive to deliver a diverse society while promoting the need for a shared future.
“Over the year I will continue to seek town centre renewal and the creation of a new enterprise zone, along with promoting our local arts and heritage – putting Coleraine on the map as a local cultural hub.”
