Anna Lo said: “I want to reach as many carers as I can in the area and help them with any issues that they may be facing. That is why I am organizing a carers’ constituency surgery to mark International Carers Day on Friday 5 December.
“Everyone is welcome at the surgery, and no problem is to minor for us to address. I am going to be joined by an expert from the Carers Northern Ireland who will be here to discuss a wide range of related matters.
“Carers are often under massive pressure because of both financial and time constraints. This surgery is about providing extra support and hearing the views of carers. If we can do anything to help alleviate the pressure they face, then this session will have been a success.
“I would like as many carers as possible to come along and share their experiences with us and with fellow carers.”
