Chris Lyttle MLA said: “We had a very productive meeting during which we discussed the future delivery of further education here. We also discussed the need to deliver skills more effectively to ensure a stronger, more sustainable economy in Northern Ireland.
“The meeting was also extremely positive in that everyone is aware that to ensure we continue to have a responsive further education system, politicians and colleges must work very closely together. To maintain the best system possible both parties need to continue to listen and take pro-active action to meet the future needs of our economy.”
