Strangford Alliance Chair, Michael Long, condemned unreservedly the paramilitary-style attack on a 13 year old in the Quarry district of Newtownards on Saturday night.
Mr Long said:
“Even by the standards of these gruesome attacks, the vicious beating of a thirteen year old boy plumbs new depths. This attack upon a child by a gang of grown men wielding baseball bats must be condemned by all right-thinking people, and I would encourage anyone with information on this assault to contact the police immediately.”
