Cllr Billy Webb said: “I am very proud to have been selected to stand for election for Alliance. Alliance is the only party that makes breaking down the barriers in our society its main priority. Northern Ireland needs a shared future and needs it now.
He added, “I have represented constituents across my constituency from Bawnmore, Longlands, Rathcoole, Rathfern and beyond. I am ready and capable of representing everyone in North Belfast. I know this will be a tough fight, but if those who did not vote in the last general election could be persuaded to do so in 2010, it is possible.”
