Webb condemns pipe bomb attack on North Belfast house

Alliance North Belfast candidate Cllr Billy Webb has condemned those who threw a pipe bomb at a house on Glandore Avenue on Tuesday night. This was the second time that this house has been attacked this year, nobody was injured.

Cllr Billy Webb said: “I find it difficult to understand why people would want to attack the house of a hard working community worker. She is trying to help her local area while these thugs are just bringing misery.

“These attacks must stop, the pipe bomb is a relic of the troubles – and that is where it should belong.

“If anybody has any information about this attack then they should contact the police. These thugs must be taken off our streets and face the full force of our courts.”
