Webb appalled at shooting

North Belfast Alliance Representative Councillor Billy Webb has condemned those involved in a shooting incident after a 31 year-old man was abducted in North Belfast and taken to Aspen walk in Dunmurry where he was shot in the leg.

Cllr Billy Webb said: “This was an appalling attack. I cannot believe that incidents of this nature take place. The brutality of those involved is difficult to comprehend.

“Despicable actions of this nature have absolutely no place in our society. I appeal to anyone with information on this incident to contact police immediately so that those involved can be swiftly brought to justice.”
