Webb appalled at car hijacking incident in North Belfast

North Belfast Alliance Representative Billy Webb has condemned a car hijacking incident in North Belfast. The driver was stopped in the Brookfield Place area at around 11.30pm last night and the car was later found burned-out at Berwick Road.

Cllr Billy Webb said: “This must have been a deeply traumatic incident for the man driving the car and my thoughts are with him following this horrific ordeal.

“This is a very disturbing incident and acts like this have absolutely no place in our society. I appeal to anyone with information on this incident to contact police immediately.”
