We need to keep trying to build consensus on school transfer

On the day that post-primary transfer test results are being posted out, Alliance Education Spokesperson Trevor Lunn MLA has said politicians need to continue to build consensus to find a fair solution that works for all our children.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “We hope that all children transferring to secondary education obtain their first choice and the place which best suits their abilities. Having said that, we will continue to press for an end to selection tests as we feel that they are unnecessary and divisive.

“Politicians need to continue to build consensus to find a fair solution that works for everyone.”
