Alliance candidate for Newry and Armagh Jackie Coade has condemned those who shot a man in Poyntzpass.
Jackie Coade said: “This shooting could have resulted in the loss of life, and must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. We had hoped that violence was behind us, but evil people continue to terrorise under cover of darkness. I hope the injured man makes a speedy recovery and I send him my best wishes. Anyone with information about this attack should pass it to the police on the 101 number or anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
