Ald Geraldine Rice said: “I am very pleased that members of the public will have the opportunity to salute the bravery of the soldiers of the Irish Guards.
“I know it will mean a lot to the soldiers to see the support that they have amongst the public.
“They carried out their role in the peace building effort in Afghanistan in an exemplary manner and served their community with distinction.
“Along with my Alliance colleagues, I look forward to honor their actions and pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty.”
