Cllr Gavin Norris said: “I call on those behind these security alerts to stop their irresponsible actions.
“It is unclear whether these are co-ordinated acts of intimidation, elaborate pranks, or if there is some other reason behind them.
“Whatever the case, I hope that those responsible will be caught and held accountable for what they have done.
“This has once again caused disruption for people in the Broadlands area who just want to live their lives in peace. It has also wasted valuable police resources.
“I urge anybody with information about these devices to contact the Police.”
