Neeson – FG Wilson announcement will be a major boost to East Antrim economy

Alliance East Antrim MLA Sean Neeson has stated that the jobs announcement by FG Wilson will be a major boost to the local economy. The company is planning on creating 300 new jobs and will open a new factory at its Larne site in a £5 million investment.

Sean Neeson MLA said: “I very much welcome this investment. This move shows that Northern Ireland is still a world leader in manufacturing.

“Hopefully it is a reflection of an upturn in the global economy. It is also a reflection of the skills base in the area and will show that Northern Ireland is a good place to invest in.

“FG Wilson is undoubtedly one of the most important employers in the East Antrim area and this news will be a major boost to the local economy.”
