Neeson continues to supports St Comgalls College campaign

East Antrim Alliance MLA Séan Neeson accompanied the delegation from St Comgalls College and Larne Council when they addressed the Assembly’s Education Committee on the proposed closure of the school. Afterwards, he sponsored a further event in Parliament Buildings where another presentation was made along with Children’s Commissioner Patricia Lewsley

Séan Neeson MLA stated: “I was very impressed by the presentation made to the Education Committee, which was delivered in a very professional manner. There was substantial interest among members of the committee whom I believe are very sympathetic to the case of St Comgalls College.

“Having taught there for 14 years, I believe that it would be morally wrong to force the closure of the school bearing in mind its very valuable partnership with Larne High School. This initiative has greatly assisted in improving community relations in the Larne area.”
