Sean Neeson MLA said: “This was a shocking attack by several men on one undefended individual.
“No person can take the law into their own hands. Any criminality must be dealt with solely by the police and not by some gang.
“Those behind this attack must face the full force of the law and so I would urge anybody with any information about it to contact the police.”
