Cllr Gerardine Mulvenna said: “I am disgusted by the people who have caused this security alert. They are callous and sick individuals.
“These people have no respect for the lives and well being of other people.
“The public wants these security alerts to stop.
“I would urge anybody with any information about this suspicious device to contact the police.”
