Alliance Councillor Andrew Muir has condemned those behind an arson attack at a property in the Holywood area on Wednesday.
A fire was reported at a property in the Oakley Avenue area close to midnight.
Councillor Andrew Muir said: “It is deeply disappointing to hear of this incident taking place in our local area.
“The actions of those responsible should be condemned and I know together we stand against this type of disruptive behaviour which only serves to drive negativity into our community.
“I would urge anyone with information to speak to the PSNI as soon as possible, ensuring those responsible are removed from our streets and unable to strike again.
