On Saturday a blind man was punched during an incident at Castle Park Avenue, while on Monday night an elderly man was left shaken after a gang raided is home.
Councillor Andrew Muir said: “I was appalled to hear of both these incidents in the Bangor area. This type of violent behaviour is completely unacceptable.
“Everyone should be able to go about their daily business in peace and feel safe in their own homes. I condemn those behind both these incidents and urge anyone with information to contact the PSNI as soon as possible.
“My thoughts are with the victims of these attacks and I hope they can recover fully from their ordeals.”
