McCudden shocked at Ballyclare stabbing

Alliance Newtownabbey Councillor Pat McCudden has expressed his shock after a female jogger was stabbing in the Sixmilewater park area on Monday afternoon. A man bumped into her while she was jogging and it was only later that she realised she had been stabbed. Her injury is not life threatening.

Cllr Pat McCudden: “I am shocked and horrified that this stabbing occurred in broad daylight. I do not know what could possess a person to carry out an attack like this.

“I hope that this woman is able to recover from the injury she sustained.

“If anybody has any information about this stabbing then I would urge them to contact the police.”
