Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “We need urgent clarification from the Minister as to what is going to be happening. People are very concerned at some of the various plans being proposed and the Minister must outline the steps he is planning to take.
“It is important that we safeguard vital services and it’s also important that we deliver more value for money in health. A key area for health is cross-border sharing of services and it is essential that we increase North-South sharing of services to continue to deliver top-class health provision and deliver savings.”
