Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “I am delighted to have been selected to stand again for Alliance in Strangford.
“Strangford is my home and I love this area. I want to be able to continue working for all of the people of Strangford and continue delivering improved services for them.
“I am very proud to represent Strangford and this beautiful area has so much to offer our economy in terms of both tourism and enterprise. I have battled in recent times to save our coastline from development, and I will continue to work to protect the environment and our tourism industry.
“I have also worked to advance a bill through the Assembly to help protect the rights of apartment owners and help them manage their own shared spaces. I enjoy helping people tackle problems that face them and I also want to continue helping my Alliance colleagues in the Assembly to achieve our main aim of creating a genuinely united community in Northern Ireland.”
