Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “I am absolutely appalled and am totally stunned at this news. My thoughts are obviously with the family and friends of the man whose body was found and this must be a horrific time for them.
“The whole community is in a state of shock. Comber is a quiet residential town and there is deep sadness at this tragic news.
“Anyone with any information at all that might be of use to the police in investigating this murder should contact them immediately.”
