Councillor McAllister was speaking after the attack on the flat in Skegoneill Avenue, which was reported to police around 11.35pm yesterday (Tuesday). No-one was in the flat at the time.
“I totally condemn this stupid and dangerous attack,” said Councillor McAllister.
“I am thankful no-one was hurt but it easily could have led to injury or worse. A senseless act of violence such as this has no place in our society and do nothing except create fear and bring misery to the local community.
“I would urge anyone with information on this to contact police immediately.”
