It has been reported windows were broken at homes at Glenrosa Link, around 2.30am on Thursday.
Nuala McAllister said: “I completely condemn this latest hate-motivated crime in North Belfast. Everyone should have the right to live in their own home without fearing for their safety.
“With the increase in these types of incidents over the past few months, I had hoped that we would not see any more racially-motivated crimes. We must all work together to ensure that Northern Ireland is as welcoming as it can be for everyone.
“I would ask that anyone with information comes forward as soon as possible to help police with their enquiries.”
