Alliance Councillor Nuala McAllister has said she’s concerned after a number of incidents of intimidation forced residents from their homes in North Belfast.
The local Councillor was speaking after residents were forced to flee their homes after five attacks in the past fortnight saw windows broken and vehicles damaged.
Nuala said: “It is absolutely disgraceful that those behind this on-going campaign of intimidation believe they are entitled to attack and abuse local residents in this way.
“Everyone has the right to feel safe and secure in their own homes and my thoughts are with all those who have had this taken away from them.
“I know the majority will join me in appealing for these incidents to stop, removing the negative headlines and instead allowing North Belfast be seen for the open and inclusive place I believe it to be.”
