Cllr Stephen Martin said: “I am absolutely appalled at this incident. My thoughts are with the man who has been through this ordeal.
“I would urge the public to remain vigilant at all times with regards their personal safety and support the PSNI in their efforts to prevent crime. Anyone with information on this incident should contact police immediately.”
