ALLIANCE Assembly member Seamus Close has described today’s massacre in Madrid as “an act of pure, unadulterated evil”.
Mr Close said: “Condemnation is not enough given the scale of the carnage. Nothing can justify such devastation and loss of life. My sympathy goes out to the victims’ and their families.
“Those who give political cover to terrorism throughout the world must be prepared to cut all links and free themselves from the millstone of terror and murder.
“We have no doubt that political cover gives succour to murder, and no democrat can continue to be inextricably linked to those associate with the Madrid massacre.”
