Alliance East Belfast MLA Chris Lyttle has added his support to the cycle to work scheme that was launched today as part of bike week.
Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I would like to add my support to the cycle to work scheme that was launched during bike week. Helping workers switch to cycling will be beneficial to people in terms of money being saved and in having a healthier life style, but it will also cut congestion in our towns and cities.
“With rising fuel bills, we should be doing all that is possible to encourage people to get out of their cars and to use either public transport or to cycle themselves.
“This has been a very successful bike week and I hope that it has resulted in more people choosing to take up cycling.”
