Lyttle shocked by assault in East Belfast

Alliance East Belfast MLA Chris Lyttle has expressed his shock after a man was assaulted by masked men in Morven Park in East Belfast on Monday night. The gang were armed with sticks and hammers.

Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I am shocked by the brutality and viciousness of this assault. There can never be any justification for this type of attack.

“If anybody has any information about this assault I would urge them to contact the police.”
