Lyttle highlights contribution of EU Peace funding to community relations work

Alliance MLA Chris Lyttle, who is Vice-chair of the OFDMFM Committee, has highlighted the contribution of EU Peace funding to community relations work. Around £1 billion has been given by the EU to a range of projects and initiatives in Northern Ireland.

Chris Lyttle MLA said: “As we attempt to break down barriers in our society, there are many fantastic initiatives and projects that would not have happened without EU Peace funding.

“These projects are making a vital contribution to building a shared future and creating the conditions we need to tackle social disadvantage and create jobs in Northern Ireland.”
