Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I would certainly encourage people to come along to see the Belfast Trojans play. It is great to see such a community based sporting team do so well and bring fun and enjoyment to people in Belfast and beyond.
“They have players from all parts Northern Ireland and from further afield, and have prided themselves on their multi-cultural basis, so it would be great to lend them your support.
“This Sunday, they are trying to get their highest attendance in the eight years since their formation, so if anybody has not been before or is interested in seeing American Football then now is the time to come along and see it for yourself. Entry is free, so what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than coming along to Shorts Playing Fields and cheering on the Belfast Trojans.”
