Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I would like to offer my congratulations to Drew Harris. I have worked closely with Drew in his role as Assistant Chief Constable and know him to be a highly dedicated Police Officer and a vital member of the PSNI senior leadership team.
“The role of Deputy Chief Constable is a highly challenging position, but I know Drew is dedicated to delivering policing with the community and achieving a safe and shared future for everyone in Northern Ireland.
“I look forward to working with him at the Policing Board and would like to wish him all the best in his new role.”
