An MLA since 2007, Trevor Lunn has worked consistently to build a future free from sectarianism, intimidation and social exclusion – a job he plans to continue in the next Assembly term.
Ahead of the election, Mr Lunn outlined his key priorities, which include furthering his work on education, policing and jobs.
Trevor Lunn MLA said: “I am delighted and honoured to accept the nomination and look forward to the challenge of another election campaign.
“Alliance is the only Party clear on the rule of law, financially responsible and socially progressive, offering the voters a clear alternative to the divisive politics consistently demonstrated by other Parties.
“It’s also clear that our message of a shared future for Northern Ireland has resonated with local people, with more voters than ever stepping forward to support me in last year’s Westminster campaign.
“The way forward for Northern Ireland is the shared future goal that Alliance proudly promotes and I’m looking forward to again hitting the streets of Lagan Valley, with a strong team behind me, to take this message to the voters.”
