Trevor Lunn MLA said: “This round of Ministerial musical chairs is not that surprising because the Executive has failed to deliver the change needed in our society. Segregation still remains, our economy is still dependant on the public sector and sustainability across the board must be increased urgently.
“It appears that Edwin Poots has been sacrificed as he is an obstacle in the path of those who want to scrap the Maze stadium plans.
“I hope that Sammy Wilson will take a more radical standpoint than his predecessor in helping protect our environment. Given his previous comments in the Assembly on green issues, however, I am not sure that this will be case.
“I do however want to take this opportunity to wish all the new Ministers well and I hope they deliver more than their predecessors.”
