Lunn offers condolences following death of young boy involved in road accident

Alliance Lagan Valley MLA, Trevor Lunn, has expressed his condolences to the family of the six year old boy who died in hospital two days after he was struck by a car in Lisburn. Another boy was also injured in the accident on Railway Street but he is in a stable condition.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “I was very saddened to hear of the death of this young boy. I would like to offer my condolences to his family and friends. To lose a loved one at such a young age is an absolute tragedy. This must be an extremely difficult time for the family.

“This incident has again highlighted the dangers that exist on our roads. I would urge everybody to take extra caution when out on the road and to be vigilant for other road users.

“We must do more to ensure that no more lives are lost on our roads.”
