Mr Lunn, who is an MLA in Lagan Valley stated: “Having a welcome pack available for children from ethnic minorities in local schools is great news. All education boards should follow the good example set by CCMS and create such an information pack for children.
“It must be extremely difficult to re-adjust and settle into a new school, especially one in which a different language is spoken – this pack will most certainly help children feel happier in their new surroundings.
“I would like to take this opportunity to praise the CCMS and their staff who complied this welcome pack.”
