Lunn hails Oakwood Integrated accolade and says it shows success of integrated education

Lagan Valley Alliance MLA Trevor Lunn has praised Oakwood Integrated Primary School on being the first primary school in Northern Ireland to be awarded an Inclusion Quality Mark and said the accolade highlights the success of integrated education in the area.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “This award underlines the excellent support the school provides to its pupils from across the whole community. I am very pleased that the efforts of the school have been recognised through this award.

“This success highlights the positive role integrated education plays in the local area and I would like to see more sharing and integration in our education sector.

“The positive example set by Oakwood Integrated School is one which others should follow and their can-do attitude is an inspiration to all of us.”
