Lunn concern at NI Water issue

Following the Regional Development Committee special meeting today, Alliance MLA Trevor Lunn who sits on the committee has expressed concern at events in relation to NI Water and has said that the Committee investigation is appropriate.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “These events are worrying and we need total clarity, firstly from the Minister, on exactly what has happened. Today’s meeting was useful but much ground still has to be covered to ensure that this troubling issue is examined fully. No-one should pre-empt the findings of the investigation or indeed the findings of the Public Accounts Committee of which I am also a member.

“The public deserve to know what has happened to ensure confidence in NI Water, the Department and the institutions of government.”
