Lunn appalled by those behind Crossmaglen explosion

Alliance Policing Board member, Trevor Lunn MLA, has condemned those behind an explosion that occurred in Crossmaglen on Wednesday afternoon in which a man was injured. It is believed that a device exploded when the victim attempted to take down a poster which it was attached to.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “Anybody could have seriously injured or killed by this device. Those responsible do not care who is harmed by their actions. They just want to see a return to the dark days of the Troubles.

“My thoughts go out to the victim. I hope he will be able to make a recovery from the injuries he sustained. No one deserves to be subjected to such a barbaric attack.

“Those responsible must face justice in the courts, so I would urge anybody with any information that could help the Police in their investigation to get in touch with the PSNI or Crimestoppers.”
